Another way to create tension with the Crafty Ring is by placing the yarn inside the loop, then slipping it behind the ring, between the wire and your finger. Cross the yarn from the loop to the opposite side of the ring, passing it beneath your finger. This technique allows the tension to be controlled by the pressure of the ring against your finger.

For a second yarn, simply place the yarn in the other loop and slip the yarn between the wire and the finger in the opposite way.
