"Most of the yarn guides are tight coils -- which is fine , i guess, if your finger is "just" the right size. This guide has a simple *adjustable* metal clamp and so works better and is more comfortable than the other types. I also prefect the simple "ring with a gap" to the helix on the coil-type."
